The Water Street Dental Practice is committed to doing the right thing. With this in mind we have decided that it is in the best interests of our patients and staff that our practice follows the Amber Alert guidance which was issued by the Welsh Chief Dental Officer on March 17th. This means that while we go through the current phase of the Covid-19 outbreak, we will stop all non-emergency treatment of vulnerable patient groups (elderly people, pregnant women and immunocompromised patients) and also reduce procedures that generate airborne particles.
Our practice will remain open to provide emergency care and some procedures such as Oral Health Examinations and Prevention Visits that we will still be able to carry out on those who don’t fall into the vulnerable patient groups. We also endeavour to stabilise our patients who have outstanding treatment to avoid any problems that may arise in the coming weeks.
If you have any questions about an appointment that you already have booked or would like to book an appointment please ring the practice.
We hope that these changes are short-lived but as always, our commitment to the health and safety of our patients and colleagues is paramount to us and means we are obliged to take this unprecedented step.
Please
contact the practice if you have any questions or concerns. We are committed to continue serving and value all our patients through this challenging time and in the long term.
